Symptoms of Low Hydrochloric Acid
Individuals with hypochlorhydria may show signs of sub-optimal nutrition, such as broken fingernails or thinning hair (more commonly seen in women than in men, who have other major causes for hair loss). A wide range of other problems may also develop as a consequence of the nutritional deficiencies resulting from hypochlorhydria. |

| The day before the fast, your diet should consist of easily digested foods, such as light salads, fresh soups, fruits, and herbal teas.
A Good Ending
The end of the fast should be similar to the days before you began the fast. You should transition to light foods for a few days and then gradually incorporate heavier foods. Remember to keep drinking plenty of water, because detoxification will still be occurring.
