Beating cancer -- how to take charge of your cancer cure and outlive the lies of the cancer industry

Mike Adams, the Health Ranger

I can't tell you how many people I've talked to -- clinicians, people trained in herbal medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, or even those trained in Western medicine -- who are doing some advanced research on cancer. They've cured cancer, or more accurately, they've helped patients cure their own cancers, because cancer is a disease that is actually quite easy to beat, especially if it's caught in the early stages. This is not a difficult disease to eliminate, but in modern medicine they try to make it complicated.

Don't get caught drowning in a victim mentality This is something I've mentioned frequently even when I get excited about herbal products, and that is: to truly heal, you have to look at what decisions in your life got you to the point where you are today. If you're suffering from a chronic disease like heart disease or cancer or diabetes or osteoporosis, then you got there by making a series of decisions over a period of years or decades that had a specific outcome. This outcome is what you are living today.
Reversing chronic disease with Amazon Herbs So you have herbal products that operate on all three levels. With that in mind, you might ask, "What can these products really do? How can they really help me?" And that's a multipart answer. My belief is that these products can actually reverse early stage cancers; they can reconfigure your nervous system; they can eliminate toxins from your system, they can boost immune system function and protect you from viruses; they can boost the antioxidant level in your tissues and circulating in your blood; they can even help reverse heart disease.

You can see what the clear symptoms are, and you can approach this with the herbal remedies or with additional nutritional supplementation. We get a 95 percent success rate in all the animals that try that. You're going to have 5 percent of animals that are going to need medication for the lifetime, either insulin for diabetes or a steroid for an autoimmune problem. Let me talk briefly about the diabetes.

You can (and should) drink plenty of juices, herbal teas, and broths while detoxifying. It will take at least four months of good eating and monthly fasts to fully detoxify your body. If you haven't been eating lots of fiber—and few substance abusers do—you may be severely constipated. Following the previously described eating plan will help, but it's also important to get the toxic matter out of your bowels. If you are having problems, see the Constipation section. Until that research is done, we advise our patients to make sure that their herbal prostate formula contains a therapeutic dose of at least one of the hetbs that are known to be effective (usually saw palmetto). Conclusion In our experience, at least two-thirds of men with symptoms of BPH obtain gratifying and long-lasting relief by following a natural-treatment program. Equally important, the natural approach to prostate health is generally safe and is not particularly expensive.
However, clinical studies suggest that this herbal remedy is a strong (and effective) medicine for men with an enlarged prostate. In one placebo-controlled study, as many as 89% of men taking saw palmetto improved after 1 month of treatment.8 These improvements included less need to get up at night to urinate and a more powerful urinary stream. A review article published recently in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that saw palmetto works about as well as finasteride, but causes fewer side effects.9 Unlike finasteride, saw palmetto does not cause impotence.
In addition to relieving intestinal symptoms, appropriate use of hydrochloric acid, pepsin, pancreatic enzymes, and/or bile salts may improve nutritional status and increase the effectiveness of some herbal medications, thereby helping to relieve a wide range of medical conditions. CHAPTER THREE Food Allergy and Intolerance It is well known that foods such as peanuts, shellfish, or strawberries, or additives such as tartrazine (Yellow Dye #5) or sulfites can trigger acute allergic reactions in susceptible individuals.
Individuals who responded well to herbal medications had more acid and pepsin in their gastric juice, compared with those who did not respond to the herbs.1 Symptoms of Low Hydrochloric Acid Individuals with hypochlorhydria may show signs of sub-optimal nutrition, such as broken fingernails or thinning hair (more commonly seen in women than in men, who have other major causes for hair loss). A wide range of other problems may also develop as a consequence of the nutritional deficiencies resulting from hypochlorhydria.
GABY'S COMMENTARY I^Jatural medicine offers some promising treatments (primarily nutritional supplements and herbal remedies) for both acute and chronic hepatitis. Nutritional Supplements Vitamin C Vitamin C has been shown to protect the liver against damage induced by toxins.1 For that reason, vitamin C supplements may be advisable for many different conditions in which the liver is under stress. Perhaps more importantly, vitamin C has an anti-viral effect, which presumably would be useful in the treatment of viral hepatitis.
I also got some Dong quai, along with a combination 'women's herbal' with black cohosh that the clerk told me about, and those really helped for over a year. My periods acted like they were coming back—they got a little heavier, the hot flashes disappeared, and all the 'nerve' symptoms got better. But now I haven't had any menstrual bleeding for about 6 months, and all the symptoms are back. My sister, she's 7 years older, is just laughing at me. She doesn't believe in vitamins or herbs or anything.

Removing mercury with supplements There are many herbal supplements that can remove mercury and other heavy metals from your body. One supplement that I strongly recommend—in fact my top choice for mercury removal—is called Metal Magic. It's offered by Jon Barron through the Baseline of Health Foundation, found at www.BaselineNutrionals.com. This tincture is one that I regularly use after consuming any kind of seafood, so if I'm eating shrimp, scallops, or even salmon, I make sure to take some Metal Magic afterwards. Metal Magic is made from two simple herbs: cilantro and chlorella.

Chinese medicine grew to encompass not only herbal remedies for illnesses, but also forms of exercise and massage that could help heal the sick and prevent disease. Acupuncture developed into its own highly technical discipline. After the Chinese Communists seized power fifty years ago, TCM experienced a brief period of decline, as its emphasis on the Tao and classic remedies came in confrontation with Western medicine. But within a decade, the Communists bowed to history and accepted TCM as an important practice. In recent years, TCM has gained acceptance in the West as well.

The day before the fast, your diet should consist of easily digested foods, such as light salads, fresh soups, fruits, and herbal teas. A Good Ending The end of the fast should be similar to the days before you began the fast. You should transition to light foods for a few days and then gradually incorporate heavier foods. Remember to keep drinking plenty of water, because detoxification will still be occurring. Safety A fast lasting longer than three days should be supervised by a medical doctor or a naturopathic physician.

If you are unable to locate herbal bitters, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar is an option. Try 1 teaspoon of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar 15 to 20 minutes before meals, three times each day. Enteric-Coated Peppermint Oil (ECPO) Supplementing with enteric-coated peppermint oil (ECPO) can be extremely helpful, especially in cases where there is overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine. A positive indican test is associated with an overgrowth of bacteria and low stomach acid. The aromatic oils in ECPO both inhibit the growth of and destroy bacteria.

The number of other Peruvian plants for which at least limited phytochemical studies exist is still miniscule, and most efforts are fuelled by the fads and fashions of the international herbal supplement market. Studies involving multiple species were initiated as late as the 1990s [105, 106, 107] and are still the exception to the rule. Conclusions Northern Peru occupies the middle sector of the "health axis" of the Central Andean cultural area stretching from Bolivia to Ecuador. Few other places on the planet boast a medicinal flora as rich as this region.

For example, if you want to prevent cancer, all you need to do is eat large quantities of raw broccoli, broccoli sprouts and other sprouts, almonds, spirulina, garlic, onions, ginger, and from the herbal world, you can consume licorice root, graviola herb and many other herbs and medicinal plants that will not only prevent cancer, but can even help reverse early-stage cancers. Many herbal teas also make wonderful beverages, and Celestial Seasonings, Stash, and other companies offer a wide selection of teas that can be brewed hot or cold. Black tea, green tea, and white tea are other options, and while they contain some caffeine, they are also rich in antioxidant flavonoids, and their health benefits seem to override any caffeine-related health problems.

Ginkgo Biloba This herbal remedy, long recommended for improving memory, has been shown to increase the activity of ten key genes in the brain, influencing memory, speech, logical thinking, and emotional responses. LeBars of the New York Institute for Medical Research found that the herb (EGb 761 extract, 40 mg three times daily) moderately increased cognitive performance and social functioning in patients suffering from dementia.

The oldest record of herbal remedies dates to the beginning of the Han Dynasty (206 b.c. to 220 a.d.). Huang Di Nei Jing, or The Yellow Emperor s Inner Classic, now almost two thousand years old, is one of the oldest medical texts still in use today. Scholars believe that it was compiled over a period of centuries. Written as a dialogue between the Yellow Emperor and Qi Bo, his leading minister, it is required reading for the serious student of Chinese medicine.

All stimulants should be avoided including caffeine, ephedrine, nicotine, and cocaine. Soft drinks should be avoided due to the high amounts of sugar, artificial sweeteners, or caffeine.
